Alcohol or Cigarette Renewal Information for Business

To Village of Edgar Alcohol Beverage and/or Cigarette License Holder:

Thank you for owning/operating an establishment in the Village of Edgar.  All current licenses expire June 30, 2023, regardless of when it was issued during the year. I have enclosed the appropriate renewal forms for your convenience. An Application for Operator License must be completed by any individual selling on your premises, including yourself. Please complete the applications and return them by no later than Friday, May 5, 2023, to ensure that enough time is provided to schedule committee meeting review, meet publication deadlines, and final Village Board action to approve the licenses. Please also make any additional copies of the Operator’s License Application for you and your employees as necessary or the application can be filled in online: https://www.vil.edgar.wi.us/index.asp?SEC=F40F0E8B-50F9-4C25-97F0-F9C0602A989CFillable Online Operators License  All fees need to be paid at the time you submit the renewal application.

 

Note:  Wisconsin Department of Revenue requires that the seller’s permit number be listed on each retailer license application for your business.  The Village Board will not be able to approve your license unless the seller’s permit number on the application matches the legal business name given when applying for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue Seller’s Permit.

                      Class A Beer or Liquor                                                                             $60.00 each

                      Class B Beer or Liquor                                                                             $85.00 each

                      Class B Beer – 6 months or less                                                              $42.50 per organization

                      Publication Fee                                                                                         $25.00 per business
