The Village of Edgar's program is now part of the Central Housing Region Administrated by Juneau County Housing Authority
The Village participates in the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Program which is part of the Central Housing Region. Zero-interest deferred-payment loans are available for owner-occupied home repairs, and zero-interest installment loans are offered for rental-unit rehabilitation that benefits low- and moderate-income tenants. An Emergency Assistance Program is also available following a declared State or Federal weather disaster. Loans help bring homes to decent, safe, and sanitary condition (roofs, siding, windows, plumbing, electrical, septic, wells, etc.). Maximum loan amount is $50,000.
