The Edgar Volunteer Fire Department is proud to serve our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our dedicated volunteers respond to fire calls, rescue situations, and ambulance services, transporting patients to Aspirus Wausau Hospital or Marshfield Hospital. We also proudly assist our surrounding townships whenever help is needed.
Severe Weather Alerts
Your safety is our top priority during severe weather. If a severe weather warning is issued:

A continuous fire siren will sound in three-minute cycles until the danger has passed.

Emergency vehicles will patrol the streets with sirens and flashing lights to alert residents.

The Village Hall is open as a Severe Weather Shelter for anyone without access to a basement.
If you see downed power lines, fallen trees, or storm damage during severe weather, please report it right away:
