The License, Building, Safety & Zoning Committee helps ensure that Edgar remains a safe and well-planned community.

 

What They Do

• Building & Codes: Keeps Village building codes current with modern construction practices and state regulations.

• Zoning: Reviews zoning requests and conducts hearings on land use within the Village.

• Safety & Law Enforcement: Establishes and reviews policies related to law enforcement and community safety.

• Licenses: Reviews license applications issued by the Village, including alcohol and cigarette licenses.
