Community Development Authority

Composition:

  • Seven (7) members appointed by the Village President with confirmation of the Village Board.

  • Two (2) members shall be members of the Village Board and serve during their term of office as a Board member.
  • Five (5) members shall be non-Board members.
    • Two (2) will serve a one (1) year term.
    • One (1) will serve a two (2) year term.
    • One (1) will serve a three (3) year term.
    • One (1) will serve a four (4) year term.

    • Therefore, terms shall be for four (4) years until their successors are appointed and qualified.

 

Purpose:

Carry out blight elimination, slum clearance, urban renewal programs and projects and housing projects.

The Village Plan Commission shall assist in performing the duties required by the Community Development Authority.
